Heaven Is A Free Gift To You!
God loves you so much and desires to have a relationship with you! You are anointed and have so many God-given talents that have been given you for your divine purpose, and God is ready to use you to do some incredible things!
While the world is busy convincing you of how unimportant you are, God, your creator, has already proclaimed how awesome you are and that you are valuable to His kingdom.
Today is the first day to the rest of your life, why not start fresh, God’s way. Your days of guilt, shame, embarrassment, depression, sadness, anger and emptiness can be over! Stop trying to fix yourself before you come to God, just surrender to Him and allow it all to be washed away. And you know what? It’s free to you! Your sin has already been paid for in full. How do you receive this free gift? Just follow your ABC’s:
A. Something to ADMIT
The Bible clearly teaches, “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) No one born into this world can claim to be completely sinless and deserving of God’s approval. Because God is completely holy and pure he cannot and will not treat sin lightly. His law demands that sin be punished and the punishment for sin is death. (Romans 6:23) All men and women die because all men and women are sinners at heart living in rebellion against God. The death that the Bible speaks about is not just a one-time event, but also a continual separation from the God of love and goodness. Those who die in their sin will enter into eternal separation from God, in a literal Hell. (Revelation 20:15) In order to deal with this problem of sin we must first admit that the problem exists. No one can be saved without acknowledging a need for salvation.
B. Something to BELIEVE
Simply acknowledging a need doesn’t solve the problem of sin, but it causes us to want to find the solution. There are many philosophies and religions that claim to provide answers, but the Bible gives only 1 option and that is to believe in Jesus. (John 14:6) There is nothing that WE can do to save ourselves. Jesus is the only person capable of saving men from sin because He is the only one who was, is, and will always be God (John 10:30) and who also became a man capable of being the substitute sacrifice for sinners (Galatians 3:13). Jesus died not because of the sin He committed, He had no sin, but because of the sin you and I have committed. He paid the penalty for sin. The Bible says that in order to receive the gift of salvation and the forgiveness of sins you must believe that Jesus died for YOU! (John 3:16)
C. Something to CONFESS
Will you ADMIT that you are a sinner in need of salvation? Do you BELIEVE that Jesus is the only Savior who came into this world and paid the penalty for YOUR sin? Then Confess to Him your sin, Confess your belief in Him, and with the words of your mouth and Confess your acceptance of His free gift of salvation. (Romans 10:9)
D. Something to DO
Being a Christian means more than just saying a prayer. When true faith begins in the heart of a person it is revealed through action. Now that you believe in Jesus and have confessed Him as Lord and Savior He calls you to become His disciple and follow Him. This is not a journey to earn His favor; He already loves you as much as He can. Following Jesus is a blessing of living a life of eternal purpose and meaningful worship to our Father in Heaven. Because God has given you His Holy Spirit you can grow in your knowledge of His will through the Bible and serve Him with your life in the world and in the local church.
We strongly encourage you to get connected with our church family or one near you that preaches and teaches the Bible, faithfully making God’s Word clear and applicable. Share your new faith with another Christian who can help you to learn and grow in your walk with Christ. As you continue to see the love of God at work in your heart you will appreciate more and more the great plan of salvation our God has established to bring us back to Him and give us the most precious gift we will ever receive. (1 John 4:10)
Invite Jesus in now! Pray this prayer:
Dear Jesus,
I have read Your Word.
I understand that I am a sinner,
And that I need a Savior.
Please come into my life.
I ask You to forgive my sins,
And make me a new person.
I want to serve You and live for You.
It’s in Your name, I pray;
Amen
We are so grateful that you have made this commitment to Christ! All of heaven rejoices when another confesses Christ, as their Savior. In other words, there’s a party going on in heaven right now and it’s in your favor! The greatest days of your life are ahead of you; we’re excited for the things that God is going to do through your life.
We, at New Image Outreach, love you very much and we are grateful to be connected to you in Spirit. If you are local to the Upstate South Carolina area, we would love to have you as a partner in our youth group and church.
