Pastor Serena was born and raised as a child in Lakeland, FL. She is the daughter of a youth pastor of 34 years. She moved to Greenville, SC at the age of 12 and graduated from Greenville High School in 1999. She obtained two Associates Degrees from Greenville Technical College and desires to return to school to become a teacher. Growing up in the home of a minister exposed her to opportunities to serve in many areas of ministry. Throughout her life she has served as a youth leader to her father, nursery coordinator, Young Adult Leader, Women’s Ministry and many more. After her marriage to Pastor Jason she came to New Image Outreach and ministered as the New Discovery Kids leader and served as Pastoral Care. She and Pastor Jason have served as Youth Pastors since August of 2007.

She married Pastor Jason in May of 2006 and they share a beautiful daughter Ashlyn.

She enjoys many things including taking care of her family, softball, outdoors, photography, watching sports and just being creative.
